Trail Mix Live returns this summer with even more excitement and expanded dates! Each event will feature live performances from two of this year's Trail Mix featured artists. Attendees can also look forward to various entertainers, giveaways, and games (including a scavenger hunt for children) throughout the series. Trail Mix Live! will be held at the Brantford Farmers' Market (79 Icomm Dr.) on the dates below from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
- The first 200 guests will receive a complimentary Brantford Farmers’ Market tote bag and a stroopwaffle from Pete’s Bakeshop, while supplies last.
- James N. Wilson is a Mohawk and French-Canadian Singer-Songwriter Musician from Six Nations of the Grand River. His original music falls in the genre of Pop Rock and his musical sound has been compared to many artists such as Dave Matthews, Shawn Mendes and Coldplay. In 2024 he is set to be releasing his second album "Alive".
- Kirk Gresser aka. Purple Joe is a long time local musician. Born and raised in Brantford, he has spent decades playing his original songs throughout southern Ontario. Purple Joe has started a side project with another Brantford musician, Scott Bradshaw, called Late Nite Radio.

- Calm Canopy is a Canadian indie rock/folk recording artist and producer. Creating indie rock and pop songs "in-house" from his home studio, Calm Canopy dives into themes of mental health, human consciousness, love, and autonomy. Mike currently lives and works from his home studio in Brant. His debut LP "Optimist Park" is set to release on May 10, 2024.
- Piano Brothers, Eric and Stuart, have been playing the piano since the age of three. They have performed many times at Sanderson Centre at many Brantford Music Club (BMC) shows. In 2022, Eric was the Young Artist soloist on stage. In the same year, Eric also played Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 1 with the Brantford Community Symphony Orchestra.

Backburner's current lineup of Jimmy, Steve, Dan and Greg enjoy sharing their passion for creating and performing original music and a variety of classic rock, folk, country and blues covers. With their vocal harmonies, improvisational live performances and sweet tones, Backburner continues to enjoy performing for the incredible operators and patrons of the breweries, wineries and pubs of Brantford, Norfolk and Brant County.
- Tyler Wilson is a singer/songwriter/guitarist from Brantford who has been in the trenches performing and recording music professionally since the age of 16. His unique blend of Blues-Rock and Classic Chicken Pickin’ guitar styles mixed with soulful songwriting and emphasis on funky and rhythmic grooves make him a force to be reckoned with. - Chris Strei is a Brantford, Ontario born singer/songwriter/producer with 20 years of experience in audio and performance. Chris took the leap of faith to make music a full-time career in January 2022. His style has been compared with artists like Chris Stapleton and Tom Petty. Chris draws on his own life experiences for inspiration in his music with compositions influenced by country, blues, and folk. Chris's lyrics tell relatable stories from a reflective point of view towards various experiences and adversities.

Monique is an aspiring singer songwriter from Brantford. Monique performs regularly at various restaurants, pubs and festivals. She performs both covers and originals inspired by artists like Gretchen Wilson, Miranda Lambert and The Pistol Annie’s.

- Jeffrey McCann is a multi-instrumentalist and vocalist that began writing and producing his own music back in 2018. Debuting unconventionally with a Christmas album, Jeffrey has since branched out to more traditional, yet diverse projects, ranging from pop to folk.
- Keith Silver is a singer/songwriter from Six Nations of the Grand River. Keith's experiences has lead him to develop a style of music that focuses on the truth and honesty that we will all live. Encouragement, motivation and inspiration is the focus in his songwriting.

- Emily Johnson plays many different styles of music, from country to pop, and can sing sweet and slow or can turn it up with a grin and some zest.
- The Hoskin and Hamilton Blues Duo touches on songs from the greats, new and old.

- Caribbean Kyle plays a mix of music styles from Caribbean beach songs, reggae, country to some classic rock with influences such as Jimmy Buffett, Kenny Chesney, The Zac Brown Band, Elton John and more.
- Kyle Moning is an independent singer-songwriter who writes captivating original songs that will have you tapping your feet, bobbing your head, and humming along. He intertwines storytelling lyrics with pop-rock hooks and country/folk harmonies to bring you songs that are as engaging and relatable as they are catchy.

- Hotfix is a four-piece alternative groove rock band that started in 2017 as a cover/wedding band playing Motown, rock and pop hits. They released their first single "Somewhere To Go" in 2018. Having disbanded in 2020 due to the pandemic, the group came back together in 2023 to focus on original music and recorded their debut EP in the late fall of that year. The band has started releasing singles in early 2024 leading up to the full EP release in April. The band puts its own spin on alt. rock, with groovy and pop elements mixed in.

About Trail Mix
Trail Mix merges local music with Brantford’s beautiful trail system, which spans 70km of natural trails within the city limits. Trail users can look for the signs posted on the kilometre markers along the 10km of trail between Hardy Road and River Road, located behind notable tourism destinations in Brantford including: Glenhyrst Art Gallery of Brant, Waterworks Park, Earl Haig Family Fun Park and Brant’s Crossing. Each sign includes a unique QR code to be scanned using a smartphone to gain access to free curated playlists featuring a total of 30 songs from 19 local artists. There are a total of ten playlists along the trail, each with three songs and approximately 10-12 minutes long, which allows the trail user to continue discovering local music during the duration of their hike. Serving Brantford and area since 1848, the Brantford Farmers' Market features products that reflect the diversity of the community, with new products introduced regularly. Current offerings include; fresh produce, meats, deli cuts, dairy products, flowers, fresh baked goods, homemade prepared food, and crafts, as well as a breakfast and lunch counter serving hot foods and other natural products.
