Lynden Park Mall happily opened its doors on Friday, June 12 as part of Stage 2 of the Province’s reopening plan, after being forced to close its doors in the middle of March in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Since then, Lynden Park Mall has been a leader in the Brantford community by taking all the necessary safety precautions (and then some!) in order to make staff and visitors feel safe.
Lynden Park Mall has a long history of giving back to the community, and this year is no exception. Over the past few months, Lynden Park Mall has donated over $6,000 to local charities that needed support during the pandemic including the Brantford Food Bank and the Brant Community Healthcare System.
Lynden Park Mall is the hub of one-stop retail shopping in Brantford, with over 95 top-name national retailers, including: Winners, Sport Chek, Mark’s, LCBO, H&M, Bath & Body Works, and many more! With Food Basics and Shoppers Drug Mart located right inside the mall, it’s the perfect place to shop for all your basic necessities, get a jump on your Christmas list, or unwind with a quick bite in the food court.
Some of the mall’s safe visiting guidelines include: mandatory face coverings, physical distancing, limited number of patrons allowed in stores, and a maximum of 50 people in the food court at any one time. All five mall entrances are open and have designated doors with “ENTER” and “EXIT” markers. Each entrance has a security checkpoint with a hand sanitizer station and security will be present to explain the social distancing protocols and offer to check the temperature of each visitor. Cashless transactions are encouraged whenever possible.
In addition to the above safety procedures, the Lynden Park Mall has also taken pertinent steps to increase cleaning in common spaces, including washrooms, and place signage in key areas reinforcing physical distancing and hygiene reminders.
We know that back to school will look a little different this year, but Lynden Park Mall is helping their shoppers gear up for a new school year by showcasing all the latest trends and styles at the Sport Check GET THE GEAR display in Centre Court from August 17 - 31.
